Agreed! I got my suspect requirements finished a couple hours ago and while it is obviously strong, I found it was very manageable to handle offensively with faster pokemon like deoxys and zacian, as well as Koraidon being just as fast. Also lots of priority options like ekiller arceus and Kingambit. It’s a lot harder to check defensively and I’ve only found spdef ting Lu and arceus ground to be truly consistent but even then, I don’t find Miraidon to be overpowering above any other pokemon in the tier, such as zacian which is just as good to me. Yeah I'm honestly surprised it's even being considered. Zacian, Koraidon, Arceus and Necrozma feel basically just as strong. I'd even throw in Calyrex and Basculegion. Maybe it's harder to counter than those but it's not at all unbeatable. It's a top tier Pokemon for sure but I don't really get the push for a ban.

Plenty of tiers have "required" Pokemon where not having one is an inherent disadvantage, that issue isn't nearly as relevant as whether the mon is uncompetitive or not, Ie does it make skill impact the result of the game less?

Can you make a similar video for National Dex Ubers? Xerneas is getting suspected, and with tera and z moves it is able to pull off absurd calcs like 2 hit KOing Defensive primal groudon with specs tera fairy moonblast and OHKOing ho oh, the usual hard counter with tera electric thunder post geomancy, 2HKOing CHANSEY with tera fighting focus blast, and just annihilating every single check it has, along with having popular specs and scarf xern sets that you also have to prepare for in the builder, each having different checks to geo xern, and you have no way of knowing which unless you let something eat a moonblast which could be from specs or you let it set up a geo for free or it outspeeds something it normally doesnt but that usually results into a palkia or mega mence or yveltal eating a moonblast

I’m not good enough to have an opinion, but I’m glad you agree about Miraidon not being too OP. It would have felt silly to load up an Ubers game and not be able to use one of the cover legendaries. Banning basculegion makes sense to me because it just makes the game less fun. Like gambit before the last dlc. something just being generally overpowered is at least still fun to play against

I don’t play Ubers, but basculegion seemed way more threatening, I’ve played around with miraidon in Rand bats and there it’s broken, and it definitely restricts the team builder, but it doesn’t seem overbearing to me. Especially when put right next to basculegion who threatens to one shot the whole team from the start with normals as counter play which most suck in Ubers. This was good content.

If you use a pawmot with volt absorb as the ability, helping hand, substitute, brick break, and revival blessing for the moves doubled with parobolic charge miraidon you can heal instantly with massive damage + if miraidon does end up dying can just revive it

Honestly this video really felt more like a basculegion suspect than anything, I think Miraidon is definitely strong and should be on every team but I genuinely feel like Koriadon put in more work this video? Depends on the opponents and team structure obviously, but I think both are very strong options and I don't entirely see that as negative? At least compared to Basculegion who very much seems like they're ruining the meta with agility or scarf or swift swim all being strong options to do the same thing of sweeping end game. I don't play Ubers and I'm not at all experienced enough in singles (or generally) to say anything with weight behind it, but I feel like they should've suspected Last Respects first? Since these games never really felt like your opponent auto lost against Miraidon, (again honestly happened a lot with Koraidon) but instead would almost immediately lose once Basculegion was allowed to come in at the end. Personally, I think it's hard to judge a test like this because Bascu is such a pressuring pokemon (again at least displayed here) that it's a little unfair to ban Miraidon first

As you've said before, there's a higher barrier to ban something from ubers. Even Gen 8 Calyrex shadow I found more offensively threatening. I would argue in favour of banning both Miradon and Koridon if this wasn't ubers. You just don't ban stuff from ubers unless it makes the tier unplayable. I just hope we don't get a chain of bans if last respects is banned , which leads to miradon being unstoppable, then Koridon....

last respects is a really unfair gimmick, it power boosts to the infinity by having your team to lose, and might give you a comeback on a missplayed game cause of it. if there is anything to ban it should 100% be it. but its ubers, i dont really see why something overall should be banned, it will simply be their meta. your video is in low ladder, and you maybe faced 1 ls user as you were, if that was just a go-to everyone would have it even in low ladder, every game has its meta, and u can clearly see what the meta is looking at top players and what they use/do, ls is part of pokemon's meta, as sash calirex and miraidon or incineroar and previously landorus (in other formats)
