@@GonshotbarzBecause there is actual strategy to it. It can sometimes be a random dice roll (which he acknowledges in almost every video) but if you’re making the correct decisions and predictions you are way more likely to win, hence why he can actually climb the ladder unlike a lot of others.

I think you had a great example with the dragon dance thing ; if you can't counter a setup sweeper, then you simply lose, and that's really not usually your fault. It's a mix of luck, skill, and predictions, and you're not gonna go high on the ladder with just the first one.

@@Gonshotbarz I know that and Freezai knows that too, he literally says it in like every video. I’m not saying it’s a really difficult format either and sometimes you immediately lose. But I don’t see any reason why there can’t be an official ladder, it’s just for fun and is probably the most popular showdown format. It’s not like anyone is advocating otherwise. But you are wrong saying anyone can climb easily. Freezai plays in competitive singles as well so he’s not just pretending like he’s a pro because of random battles. Statistically you are going to win more if you make better decisions and make the right predictions. Which is why you won’t climb if you can’t do that. You will win the matchups where you have a very favourable matchup but then lose all that elo when you can’t snatch a win with an unfavourable matchup due to playing poorly. There are hundreds of examples in his videos where you can counter sweeper setups or where the opponent makes a poor decision letting him win. Which is why he climbs. Yes it’s easier than singles but there’s still skilful decision making which the top players have and is why they’re consistently high elo
