I like the way you explain step by step. That’s very helpful to newbies especially.

I’m looking forward to the video where you will talk about the quality of bought food and about soil poverty. I had never heard about Amozite until you mentioned it and I went out to buy some and the Garden Centre had a lot of it in stock. I live in Canada and contacted Azomite Canada and they were very helpful. So because of you my soil will be enriched. Thanks.

You should be weighing the trays. That will tell you if everything is fully dry. How you do a weight test? After the process is complete, you take out each tray and weigh them each in grams. Write the weight of each try down. Return the trays to the freeze dry for an additional 2 hours. Once the extra freeze drying is done. Weigh the trays again. If the weight hasn’t changed from the last weigh in, then everything is dry. But… if the weight has drop, that mean it still have moisture. You will keep freeze drying till the weight has stop dropping. That will tell you it’s fully dry. I do raw chicken breast that I slice in half, because it’s too thick. It takes me over 40Hr to FD them and I do the weight check too. You can rehydrate the chicken with chicken stock. I also do raw burger patties. And you can rehydrate them with beef broth. Trust me weigh your trays. You can go wrong.

Thank you for making this video clip. I've been waiting for you to freeze dry garlic for a loooooooooooong time! Quite a few people told me to never freeze dry garlic because the smell will stick to the freezer dryer (Harvest Right) and it will contaminate all future batches. I was also told it's impossible to get rid of the garlic smell from the machine. Is it true based on your experience?

How about reconstituting it in olive oil? My wife and I do that with fresh all the time.

I’m not sure how long it takes for this to happen but fresh garlic + oil = botulism. I learned that in a food safety course.

To bad most people cannot afford this as price gouging. Not worth thousands of dollars. I will keep to old fashioned way that works.
