Perfect timing I just had the opportunity to buy chicken tenders for $1.79! I have not seen that price on chicken in forever and was so glad I was watching for a sale so I could do marinades for the grill this summer. Thank you for giving me even more ideas for Summer meals!

Also, for the US members…reminder that Memorial Day at the end of May is a HUGE sale time for meats. Memorial Day and July 4th are huge meat sales in the US. Hugs to you guys! I feel the same way when I have packages of meat in the freezer. I don't really grab that as much as the freezer meals. I made your Pesto Chicken and Veggies a few weeks ago. I pulled it out the other day and loved it. I cooked Orzo to go with it. Thank you for all the great recipes!

On the taco shell/tortilla debate, something our family does is the double shell too but on the soft shell we put nacho cheese then put the hard shell inside that with all the taco goodies in it. :) Thank you for the chicken recipes, too. We are big chicken eaters in our home.

We pretty much only ever do double decker tacos, unless we're eating left overs. Soft taco tortilla, smear with refried beans, put your taco shell on the beans and put all your taco stuffings. Thank you Taco Bell now bring them back and leave them on the menu. ❤

When making freezer meals, the meat you use has to be fresh and not frozen, because you can not refreeze most meats unless they have been cooked. Am I correct? And, if so, does that mean you ladies only purchase the deals on fresh meats? And then have to do your freezer meals right after? I see a lot of deals on frozen meats, but they would have to be used in cooked dishes that are then frozen. Correct? Sorry, probably a dumb question, but I'm new to this and just trying to figure it all out. I also want to try meal prepping. Need to find all ways to save money possible!! Thanks ladies, you're so awesome!

Not a dumb question at all! The general rule of thumb is frozen meat needs to be cooked before it’s put back in the freezer BUT if it’s still frozen, it’s ok to put back in the freezer. So for example, you could add a marinade to frozen chicken as long as you do it quickly and get it back in the freezer. The issue comes if you thaw it and then refreeze without cooking in between. Does that make sense?
