You could use Stasher bags or mason jars to put your food into so it fits neatly into your containers. Always put mason jars in the fridge to cool down before putting them into the freezer. When removing mason jars from the freezer to thaw, always put them in the fridge first before putting them at room temperature. Glass jars can break if they experience extreme temperatures.

I have the same exact fridge as you, so I decided to also order 2 of the size small translucent multipurpose bins to see if they’ll fit in that extra space that you had left in the lower section. I just wanted to let you know, just in case you’re interested, the I got 2 of the small multipurpose bins from Container Store & they fit perfectly in front of the 4 large bins where that extra space is. They’re the perfect size to use 1 for bread 🥖 & the other for French fries. Thank you so much for the inspiration!
