I have always wanted to be in London on Christmas. Its the classic Dickens. All the shops & lights. In Minnesota, I live in a suburb, pre planned community. We don’t have little shops. Everything is big box stores. And yes- it is very cold here -11F (-24C) Your cold is cold to you. You are lucky that you live in a place that doesn’t get as cold as us. It is not cold enough here to stop all of our outdoor festivities. We are crazy for living here. Happy Christmas!

I hate the 'It's colder in my country' argument- I grew up in Canada, in a city where it reaches -50 every year. I've lived in the UK for 8 years and the winters feel WAY more brutal. The wet cold makes it impossible to stay warm, and it really gets to your bones! I'd take -50 dry winters any day over this! Stay warm

It was -8 F (-22 C) this AM here in Ohio. We have really strong winds and blizzard conditions. So wacko as we were in the high 30s F yesterday (so above freezing). I hate winter. I'm here for my kids and grandkids or I'd be somewhere warm. 🙂

Weird fact the origin of the flying reindeer became a thing because people used to take a form of halluvigenic mushroom it made them feel like they were flying so when the actual reindeers got hold of them the reindeers would run for ages in a straight line so people assumed they must feel like they are flying I kid you not this is not a joke it’s true look it up.
