A pleasant 48hr camp out chaps. Lots of good food,,, apart from gherkins 🤢 WTFFFF? The Richmond Sausage debacle. Hi , canned meats are still a main staple diet for most campers unless your constantly carrying your food around where its easier with water hydration meals , fresh meat is OK but you have to be aware of its eating time span . Nice wooden cup did you make it yourself , its all bushcraft to me . MDM .

This is very true 👍 I've never had the hydration meals but they will have advantages for sure when hiking. The cup is actually made from recycled materials its called kupilka

The best dried backpacking meal is “Mountain High” it’s incredible with some really fancy meal packages. I always bring string cheese with me (which lasts forever in a hot backpack) and string it in as it’s cooking. Delicious.
