We're going away soon and a mate is bringing his canoe which he built as well. Looks very like Simons. I doubt I will be getting up early enough to experience this but a paddle and fish on the river will be very nice.

What can I say without resorting to hyperbole….. Just going to say what first comes in to my head . That was *!#%ing amazing mate. Im sure lots will follow including myself but none will do it the justice you have. Utmost respect shown for wildlife and the location , notice he didn’t camp there during nesting season and the fire was contained and above ground , the wood brought in. Take heed anyone visiting this special place.

I was in Norfolk over twenty years ago, and was also at Hickling Broads, but only saw it from the shore. Being on the water is a whole new world! It is SO beautiful. The misty sunrises are breathtaking! I have this hankering now, to go back and experience it from your perspective, but a woman on her own, getting on a bit, is not the best candidate for that. So I guess I will be there, vicariously, through you! This has the be the loveliest video to date!

Did I like the sound of the geese flying, after that @6,30 you can litteraly feel connected to nature. Humbeling to be so close to the water and beeing so vulnerable and yet so in control. Respect for and with nature at it purest. Good to see the old mills (with or without grinding stones) to be left there and occasionally beeing tended to. Good to see that Hardy will still come out while his child (and probaly wife) say please be home for the night. Also good to see that he still is good to be to be there. Respect for Hardy to be able to divede his time between family and anything else. Looks like a mirror the sunset with the trees and sun getting through the clouds. Very impressive and bless for Simon to be part o that and sharing it with the world
