I did a lot of paper rolls out of the Pacific Northwest and never really had any problems, however I refused to do any scrap/trash (or nursery runs) after I did the first few of them because in addition to it making a mess of the trailer, we had to wait in line to scale the trailer before it was loaded, then weigh again after- All this extra waiting and cleaning COMPANY equipment and wasted "On Duty" time were things that we were NOT paid for or compensated in any way...

Anheuser Busch-Cartersville, GA. Load to gross. PLUS biggest red flag of all: They DO NOT pay detention. My one experience there I ended up not getting in a dock for hours and hours. I finally called them and told them I'd have to do my reset and I'd call them when I had a new clock. Plus, dropped the load at A.B. in Jacksonville and they ran my clock out taking so long to unload. Had to PC to a truck stop. NEVER again. I agree with all of your avoid list (although I don't have some of those in the southeast). Also if you are hauling food-grade loads, you need to be careful what you haul in your van.

Scrap paper bails often have crushed glass mixed in. If you pull any food grade products your in for hell trying to clean out all the glass. The dust gets in cracks etc.

Thank you for information paper liars they are picking about your trailer also we did a recycle load with plastic bottles and we had to air our trailer bad load no recycles or paper now no Water😮❤ I will keep watching your videos I’m an O/O looking for knowledgeable information and Dispatcher

yup Do not take or do load for TIRES specially if they are not Palletize DO NOT DO THEM they make you count them each and induvial before putting on your truck!!!

Thank you for your video, it is very interesting I agree with everything you said, one that is at the top of my list would be hides, they're common around slaughterhouses usually they go to a leather factory or something like that but wow do they stink to high heaven, I'll never haul them.

Good morning Anas! I hope you're doing ok. I was just watching your youtube videos and I have two questions about the dispatching company, my father is an owner operator and we have LLC company and its called Trust Delivery LLC, we have MC and USDOT number. So my question is should I get a new LLC for dispatching or can I start dispatching under our LLC company since we already have LLC and MC number? If I'm dispatching drivers, will I get paid the whole amount from the broker and then pay my drivers? How does that work?

Morning. You should get a new LLC for dispatching if you have an MC number with the first one due to liability, insurance and possibly even being blacklisted by brokers if they notice that you are running a different operation with that MC number. Brokers don't pay dispatchers. Brokers pay owner operators and you collect your fee from the owner operator.

It would be considered a different operation under the same name. My advice to you is not to do it. It would take me long time to explain why. I could probably make a video about that. :)

Why are you moking scrap paper? 😓 It is one of the most favorite loads I ever driven. But I was driving truck in Germany, with a walking floor trailer. Scrap paper was just awesome to load, no loading security, easy to unload, no smell, no washout needed, ... The load I disliked the most have been chicken excrements, even after washing, still smells three weeks later. Very bad are also any recycling products, no matter if plastic, glas, steel, all bad. Smells bad, full of maggots in the summer, leaves stains, always washout needed, often paid by weight. If you leave the truck loaded over the weekend you don't have maggots anymore, you got flies. The scrap can also damage the aluminum walls of the trailer. 🤦‍♂ But luckily it was a short endevor, because the German company figured they don't need to pay foreigners what they promised, or in time. So back then I went back to Canada, to drive Diesel again. Greetings from Czechia! 👋 (You could have clarified that you mean loads bad for a Van-trailer)
