You will need three or more persons to help you to remove the hood from the truck.
if this problem IS NOT repaired on time, it can damage you AC condenser, CAC or radiator causing a higher price for the repair.

What about alignment. Hiw do you make sure that the brackets are the same height. To prevent your hood from being uneven when you put it back on

Hey bud. I love your videos. They have helped tremendously. But I see you have bolts installed while the glue is setting. Did you drill out holes in the body to set the bolts. My hood doesn’t have the holes.

Another very important question My Truck is 2012 Freightliner Cascadia DD15 I recently close the Def System But something goes Wrong The Truck is loosing power specially on a Normal hill it goes down to 45 -30mph Even when it’s Empty it runs very down Any idea why?? And I have the very left check engine light on... Please I really need your help... Thank you for your helpful videos... I really would like to appreciate you!!

I need to add cameras on the side of my hood but it has like a shell glued under the hood over steer tires tires so if i used a drill bit it would have to be super long to go through both areas of hood & shell plus cut the shell some so i could have room enough for bolting the cameras down. I never seen underneath the glued on shell support on hood but do you think this would harm the hood any?

it should be enough, add bolts and or rivets to make it last longer

Hey bro the grill on my freightliner become lose on both sides I told the dealer to inspect it they told me clips are broken and you need a new grill. Is there any way to just put new clips instead of changing the hole grill because a new grill is expensive?

Francisco, How much wear in the the center bar of the hood can cause hood shake? My hood shakes but not loose at the mount points. I believe the center bar is worn bad?

Mine doesn't have metal brackets or bolts it's all fiberglass can I use the adhesive or has to be fiberglass to fiberglass

Yes, but probably you will need a different adhesive.

Be careful when you go and have the truck washed. Those guys love to pull hard on the hoods and let them go down with a bang. That's how mine got broken.

Francisco Amaya Hi Francisco Amaya I have some issue with my Truck ... I recently Blocked the DEF system But I notice the Truck is loosing power even When I empty... In a Normal hill which every Truck goes around 65 mph my truck goes down to 45 miles per hr even less sometimes when the hill is little stronger it goes all the way 15 to 25 mph... Any ideas please???
