Possibly because most North Americans (US especially) dont really associate Mercedes-Benz with work vehicles aside from their vans

@@VHSfrancis We’re gonna start seeing the same thing with International Trucks using MAN chassis now that Traton own Navistar. At the very least, I expect their garbage MaxxForce engines to be replaced with MAN powertrains updated to also meet US standards.
