This is great information. Living in the area I am very interested in the history of the frontier before the French and Indian War through the Revolutionary War. I just recently learned of the French Azilum and we are anxious to spend a day there this spring. Such incredible history. Thank you.

It's been proven Marie never stated "let them eat cake" There is a palatable sence of peace, relief, and quiet freedom that resonates from that soil. As you both stated, it really needs to be experienced to be understood.

Jason, many thanks for taking the time to watch our video & your feedback. I also had my doubts on the veracity of the eat cake quote although I did not know that it had been proven to be false . I would be interested to know how it was determined, if you could let me know it would be appreciated. Thanks. Rich
