I had durian in Indonesia - in a well-ventilated area (i.e. outside), and found it delicious. Our local tour guide took us to a stand specifically because I said I wanted to try it - and I wasn't disappointed - once you're past the smell, the taste is really good, with that weird soft texture.

Only the locals know where the good durians are. If U Gweilo try sourcing n eating alone; U r going to be con n getting those low quality durians that would leads to poor impressions. Locals like Mao San Wang, D24 or Red Prawn.
