French Food HIDDEN GEM in PARIS | KJ and TONY TOOTH CRISIS (Ouch!) | French Dentist Response

On our recent trip to Paris we discovered a French Food Hidden Gem that is just off the Champs Elysee in the 8th arrondissement. We also experienced a tooth crisis and found ourselves having to suddenly and quickly find a French dentist.

Carol - The mussels were truly the best version I've ever tasted!! Tony's tooth is a veneer and he needed a root canal, which Dr. Suissa performed before he bonded the tooth back in place. Luckily, we had the tooth or it would have been a totally different outcome. Glad you enjoyed the street musicians!

That was nice they fixed the tooth on the spot! The worst we’ve had was probably an infected ingrown toenail on a trip to Europe with 20k plus steps nearly every day for weeks.

Was it a "Fanfare des Beaux-Arts" playing music at the end of the video ? I am not sure, but they really look like… The "fanfares des Beaux-Arts" (Fine Arts Bands) are a genuine French and Parisian institution. The musicians all come from the Fine Arts Academy or architecture schools. They only play drums and brass instruments, whatever the music is supposed to be, even a sheet music for violin 😂 Don't miss them : they are not always great musicians (but they don't care), they often play in the streets, and it is always very funny !

Yes, this is from our trip in October. We're headed back in a few weeks and it's going to be REALLY cold!!

@@kjandtonylovefrance Not necessarily. After a 10 day cold snap with daytime temps in Paris below 30°. We are now hitting the mid 50s every day and I checked for the next 10 days and it should be in the mid to upper 50s when you arrive. Even some places in the south are over 70° during the day now.

Riding bikes across France a while ago, my son came down with a skin infection that required three days of hospitalization on the "chirurgie" floor of the Princesse Grace Hospital in Monaco. Wow, was THAT an experience! A very stressful time. My tip for others: carry a credit card with a high limit and collect all paperwork for insurance reimbursement! And, being an American, be prepared for quizzical looks when you look a little terrified of the possibility that insurance won't cover the cost!
