Dahl is a very common lunch food in india. The basis of many indian vegetarian lunches is dahl and rice then sides constiting of various season vegetables and breads on the side.

Seems like the difference between this French ration and the other French ration is the outer container. This one is in a plastic sleeve so it’s waterproof for Marine operations. The other one is up for land based army operations. Seems like it would be more sense to have them all packed in a plastic sleeve.

I agree. The plastic bag does seem to make more sense than the box. The box does help keep the canned items from getting too banged up. Actually, they should just put the box in the bag! Double wrap action! Thank you for watching and commenting!

The UK rations do have really good 3 in 1 coffee and teas. I only drink tea with cream when I am having a British ration. They just do it right! Thank you for watching and commenting!
