Everything was stale and almost twice as expensive the the regular. I know there are haters out there, don't pay them no mind. I'm sure Steve gets them too. Bourbon St Joe reviewed one of these a few weeks ago. It's very interesting. For being a "First Strike" ration I can see where they're going with it. No heating, easy to shove in your face hole to get max calories. Even though most of it looked like baby food, I bet it was still better then the US First Strike ration. Excellent RN!

so dont quote me on this but i believe if memory serves correctly the reason there is no sugar with your coffee in this kit is due to the fact the french tend to usually drink coffee straight up and more often as espresso.

I really don't care for the Brigford sandwiches. The worst IMO is the Italian sausage jammed into there shelf stable bread. These rations I believe were ment to be just a series of snacks on the go.

Yes! These were all designed for quick, zero prep consumption. But the execution was poor. It was like they were trying to make this like the RCIR. Fail sauce!

Fun aside Chef Boyardee was a major producer of rations in WW II however pretty sure they didn't go with the baby food method back then.
