this is so beautiful!!! never really thought about cooking persimmons but will probably incorporate it into a grain salad or something!

Persimmon is my favourite fruit but never thought to incorporate it into a tart! I just eat them cold after quartering them. Great job! x

My neighbor has a persimmon tree and always gives us a lot of them so I'll have to try this recipe! Thank you!

I make persimmon bread with the other variety of persimmon that you eat when they are very soft and ripe. They are pointy instead of flat like the future. I also make jam!

I just bought date syrup for another version of a persimmon tart recipe; but, I would like to try your recipe. I don't want it to go to waste! Do you think it would work okay instead of the apricot glaze?

I invented a recipe for persimmon bread using persimmons that are the musher kind where they are made into a purée! Lol the end of the video that looks like a good bite

i love how simple this tart is! You were saying how it's the same as French apple tarts so would I just use the same recipe and substitute the persimmons for apples? :) i can't wait to try this recipe out!

DAMMIT. I ate a all my persimmons a few hours back, now i'm watching this video with a lot of regret. >.< Note to self: Buy more persimmons tomorrow.

I've tried persimmons, both kinds, on and off for years thinking maybe I would learn to like them (happened with tomatoes). But persimmons always taste the same bland yuk to me every single time. I finally gave up. Same with melons. For 70 years, I've tried to learn to like them. Whenever I think I'm going to give it another try now, I just grab some baking soda and take a big old spoonful of that. Easier, cheaper, and less muss and fuss.
