FRENCH RIVER 2022: Le Petit Voyage (DAY FIVE: OX ISLAND to FIVE FINGERS)

After years of waiting, and months of planning, the boys from Single Malt and Maps (Evan and Rich) head off on a week long adventure down the historic French River.
The plan was to disembark from the Western end of Lake Nipissing, travel down the entire length of the French River to Georgian Bay, and take out at Hartley Bay.
This trip will be presented in a 7 part series and we look forward to taking you down the beautiful French River from our perspective.
We had some heavy head winds, some rainy days, but also some excellent sunny weather. We tackled many rapids, saw lots of pictographs and got to soak in some historical sights and artifacts along the way.
Our journey was approximately 186 KM in length, and was well worth the effort to plan and pull off.

It is too bad you did not get to go down the Old Voyageur Channel, which is especially beautiful. Regarding the tables; motor boats can be driven to that campsite.
