Hey kiddo! I just finished (and ate) these French Toast sticks except I cut the mixture into half for two big coffee mugs; pressed the sticks down into the mixture then microwaved for two mins and used syrup…also delicious!🥰

I love 'egg toast'.... It's just plain bread, dipped in beaten egg, lightly fried. I eat it with salt & pepper. Yummy comfort food!

I wish there was an alternate for the egg my son is allergic.

My son had egg allergies when he was younger. These days he is okay. I would mix egg replacement powder in the heavy cream. It worked well. 😊

I use day old French bread just like how my French grandmother used to make French toast. I get a Great Value French bread loaf from WalMart for $1.47. The stick version is just an American abomination of the original recipe.
