Would absolutely love the Golf. My first car was a MK4 GT TDI 15 years ago (with an R32 bodykit on it)! Mapped and modded to the hilts and even took my driving test in it! 2 minors! :) Just blew the engine on my weekend fun car (Rx8) so I'd worship the GTI! P.S. I'm a dreamcatcher!!! :)

It should be the clutch that’s pushed in to start. The switch under clutch pedal is faulty so Renault used a back up brake pedal switch so the car will start and not leave you stranded. Only a cheap £10 part . Go grey for wheels btw 👍

same here. in my own opinion, i think black wheels only suit dark coloured cars. black, grey, DARK blue etc.

When the cars are this similar on paper, the difference between the drivers is all it can take. 🤔🤔 I have yet to race an ep3 so can't comment from my experience tbh. I can believe the ep3 might be a bit faster in a straight line, but as soon as it gets to the twisties the Renault is top of class.

Eh hardly. They weigh about the same, have about the same peak power and the Clio has more torque and gets to the power band sooner. 🤔 🤔 I've raced an FN2 but it was literally no contest, I had the worst tyres ever lmao and couldn't go more than half throttle in 1st so I didn't stand a chance(I'd not long bought the car and hadn't had time to change the rubber). Ps4 tyres now, just waiting for a Civic and I'll see what happens 🤷🏻‍♀️.

I drive these when new it’s better than a type r ep3 in power delivery but type r would be a better long term runner. I didn’t like the Brembo 4 pots on there are the car nose dives excessively and tramlines under heavy breaking

The brakes are amazing at rotation. I agree with the tramlining, but the nose dive means the brakes can be used to make you faster with weight transfer, its so easy to rotate the rear around a corner using the brakes. 🤔 🤔 But it doesn't make it feel quite as stable as some might light, that's the thing with these they don't ever want to go straight.
