I came to Australia 3 years ago for my son's education, as I am Aussie born but live in Europe. And now...I'm stuck here for a while as our borders are closed...You bring me a sense of peace with your beautiful videos. One day I will be in France and living slowly. Thank you for your content. It brings hope to those who thought they lost it.

Just found your channel. Two minutes into this second video and I had to comment. Seeing what you're doing makes me want to continue renovating our mountain home. I lost my mojo for it and now it's back. I'm getting really excited to tile the kitchen and start more painting, thanks for the motivation. I live in Colorado in America and struggle with the perception here of everything needing to be perfect. I love vintage and antique with the imperfections and layers of worn paint. Looking forward to more videos. Subscribed!!!

O your comment fills my heart with gratitude! Thank you so much. Wonderful to hear you feel excited again about continuing your renovations! We’ve lived here for nearly 3 years now and nothing is finished and everything takes so long. At the beginning I told myself I wasn’t going to put time, effort and money in fixing up things temporarily but as you go through my videos you’ll see that I ended up doing that, because I just wanted to surround myself with more beauty. Why wait until renovations are finished when they may take even longer than we thought? You’ll see that my quick fixes are far from perfect but they make me happy and that’s all that matters. Enjoy making your home even more beautiful! ✨

Does it get very cold there? Snow?
@FrenchCountryLife2 жыл бұрын
It doesn’t get as cold anymore as it used to according to the older people in our village. We rarely have snow here but the higher villages (mostly in the natural park) do.
