Love my sk800 and hope to be getting a 1550 next week because the attachments will fit both. The only reason I would consider a caged over an sk3000 is because of the weather. Using the SK in the winter and on very hot days sucks.

Currently running an SK800 and on the waiting list for the SK1550. I think the SK3000 is a little big. I want to be able to get through 4’ gates and use my current attachments. The biggest benefit I see to having a caged machine is the heat and AC and the seated position when moving a lot of material. Love your channel and looking forward to seeing more.

Robert, Love the content. Been using your methods on several jobs and have had excellent results. I second his opinion of the SKs. We have been running Ditch Witch SKs since 2006 qnd have not considered other brands since.

On the sk1050s I wish they would make it so the dump angle was deeper. Allows it to dump in say a f550 dump truck easier. We like our sk1050s

Its all about Length of tracks. Its short if the weight is deeper it will lose lift capacity.

Sk850 and sk1050 are NOT TURBO they are a yanmar 100 cubic inch 3 cylinder. Much more power but not turbo. The sk1550 IS TURBO yanmar engine.
