Hi! I just found your channel while looking for alternative mount for camera. You made me to try a front loop after scrolling through your movies :) . Can you please tell me can you make duck jibe with this custom clew mount? Does it bother you in any of windsurf activity - what is the downside? Thank you for your answer!

Thanks man, let's go forward :) ! No problems with duck jibe, you can see a few in my most recent videos. The downside is one has to be careful when handling the sail on the beach, at the beach start or when putting the sail down. That said, nothing ever happened once I doubled up the white plastic pipe even after hitting the reef or the ground while on the beach.

Hello, call me thick, but I don't see how the alum pole clipped or attached to the rear of the boom. I saw how the sliced PVC does, but the alum won't snap back as easy. Basically saying I don't quite get it, thanks for help !

The aluminum pipe "slides" into the pvc pipe. You can use inner tube to increase friction between the two. Then the duct tape hold the 2 together.
