def found the video helpful! def wasnt using that same window to view characters' skills to view their kits.. was using some like, 'tips' sorta extra info under the team management tab to view each character kit and their expected 'role'.. so that was a bonus.. yea, trying to get used to farming echos and how to go about it.. sure u can find out each element type or group type, and use the "detect" feature, but drops rates being what they (currently data bank lvl 10), and once u farm one spot - gotta head over to anotehr etc.. so trying to develop or understand any more 'optimal' strat to farming these things.. thx for all the info u've been dropping!

Whatever you do, guys... Do NOT farm echoes until you hit data level 20. That 100% 5 Star Echo guarantee will save you so much headache.

sorta wish they just remove 2-4* echos drop and make it so all echos that drops regardless is 5* and just let data bank lvl determine the max lvl u can lvl up the echo to starting at +5 cap and each data bank lvl increase the lvl cap till +25 at lvl 20 data bank

How exactly are echoes farmed? I know you can get echoes both in the overworld and through Tacet Fields, but is there a reason to do one or the other? Are Tacet Fields primarily for echo xp/tuners? I'm nearing UL 30 and am looking forward to being able to get 5* echoes in the overworld, but am just not sure if the quality of echoes is different in Tacet Fields or such. Also, thanks for making these videos. These have been by far the most informative videos for a new player figuring out the mechanics and making small optimizations during progression.

What is the most optimal way to roll echo substats. I'm running out of echo exp but i got shitton of echo tunners

some people tune the substats 1 by 1 or only 3 tunes at lvl 15 for 5* echos then abandon it if it doesnt yield anything good since its unlikely the last 2 tunes will salvage the echo itself so it becomes exp fodder for the next piece

Do we get their attributes after we use the echo or is it from the moment it’s equipped?

You get their stats once you equip them. Some boss echoes give you certain buffs when you use their echo skill though

For someone like me that just started playing at 2.0 and got carlotta and her weapon pretty early, what are the characters to focus on? Is phoebe good for a new account?

phoebe if you like the gameplay from the leaks that currently shows shes a spectro main dps that makes use of spectro frazzle (a new spectro DoT debuff that was added in 2.0 that currently only spectro rover can utilize and support yet spectro rover isnt an overall support focus character in the first place) but this is still really early and anything can change from now till release since even carlotta’s kit was all over the place during the test server so only if you like the gameplay and/or want another main dps try to focus on some of the 4* with useful outro skills like sanhua who boost basic atk dmg or mortefi whose outro skills boost heavy atk dmg for the incoming resonator for example if you got any character you using as main dps that focus on those aspects of their kit alternatively yangyang and yuanwu’s outro skills revolve around energy regain and reducing enemies’ vibration strength (the white bar under their hp that when broken makes them immobile for a while) respectively which are more universal benefits and even then characters like mortefi and yuanwu have coordinated atks as in they have skills that persist over a long duration dealing period atks in accordance to current active on-field resonator preforming their actions so they just simply offer off field dmg as a sub dps if nothing else for carlotta specifically, unfortunately her best outro skill support is with zhezhi who is another 5* and i dont think any 4* has a supporting outro skill thats the right fit for her

Regarding on upgrading and tuning echoes you said I should wait til UL40 and have data bank lv15 but what if Im on UL35 but my data bank lv is 18(technically lv20 but I need to get to Sol3 Rank 5). Can I start upgrading now? I love your guides btw Im new to wuwa cus it just dropped on PS5

Oh sorry I meant UL 40 / data bank 19! = higher 5 star drop rates with more rewards in the tacet fields. I would upgrade just a few 5 star echoes if you can but if you really want to build someone, go ahead!

@frenchtutor_ that's the part, idk which subs good to keep and trash. If the different is slightly, should I keep it and give to other characters than trash it

@@OktaAlozna what you do in the endgame is level up multiple echos which have the right primary stat, to 5 or 10. Then you choose the echos which got the best rolls (either an ATK %, Crit or basic/resonance/liberation based on their scaling) and then you level those up to 25. If you're scarce on echo xp, you might want to only go for 20. All the other echos can be discarded or used as XP.

you dont have the bank unlocked to max yet. its normal. once you get to higher union. you get closer to max
