Veteran tips: 1. Never pull on the STANDARD CHARACTER BANNER intead use your Lustrous Tides (green ones) on the STANDARD WEAPON BANNER where you can choose anything you want and also is guarateed within 80pulls. Radiant Tides (,gold ones) or Astrites (starrry thing) should be used on premium banners ONLY. Additionally, If you're going F2P, don't pull for premium weapons just premium characters only. Just remember to prioritize DPS and give that DPS a standard 5* weapon. 2. Use use you selector for one of two characters only (Verina if not willing to play Baizhi or Encore if you want to play Baizhi). You can also save it for LATER use.

Bad advice. In wuwa. Pulling for universal 5* weapons is a very worthwhile investment as you're allowed to swap weapons every stage clear. Pulling for a universal crit rate weapon for each type is a very good investment since weapon banners have lower pity and are guaranteed.

@@glovs4188 bro, two of the standard weapons have crit rates (sword and gun). Also, the current banner character uses a gun and the most newcomer/F2p friendly main DPS and subps (Rover and sanhua) are both sword users. What's wrong with that?

@@andynow-uu1mr point is. After getting your 3 teams. The next best value for pulls are weapons. Heck you honestly need just 2 main DPS. One for middle tower and another for for last stage of both left and right. And with how generous kuro is, you can probably get a limited unit every patch. And those standard weapons are more supportive.

The guy that comment said that dont pull for weapon event banners if you are F2P (Which is right. But do you know that you can do that when you have a 40 day reset on a Item Exchange that has 7 pulls on event, weapon and a standard banner using Occilated Coral). It was free and you can stack those Forging tides to pull on your desired character's signature weapon without paying extra That 7 pulls you got from item exchange really helped me to pull for my wanted character and stacking my pity onto my event weapon convene as well

I think a key thing to consider with gachas isn't the hard pity, which you will never actually reach, but how the soft pity works which is, by design, where everybody actually gets their characters. In WuWa the 80 figure is a flat lie - the rate from the soft pity already reaches 100% at 79 pulls. You will never go to hard pity because soft pity is the only thing that actually matters. The soft pity kicks in at 66 and ramps up from there, hitting 100% at 79, with the most common number of pulls being 70-72. This combined with the 0.8% rate outside of pity results in an overall 1.8% rate, or 56 pulls per 5*. How does that compare with other gachas and their pities? Hoyo games have soft pity kick in at 75, and you'll typically get a 5* around 79-81 pulls. You're not going to hit their 90 hard pity either. Overall their system results in a 1.6% average rate, so 63 pulls per 5*. GFL2 has the same 80 hard pity at WuWa, but their soft pity kicks in at 58 pulls, so you're likely to get your 5* there between 63-69 pulls. However, their rate before pity is Hoyo-style 0.6% versus Wuwa's 0.8%. This means in GFL2 people get less 5*s outside of pity, but will get their pity 5* slightly faster. Their system coincidentally also works out to the same average 1.8% as Wuwa and the same 56 pulls per 5*. Arknights rates for a 6* are 2% and their soft pity kicks in at 51 pulls, adding an additional 2% each pull from that point on. The overall average with pity considered is 3%, or a 6* every 34 pulls. Arknights does not have the additional 50/50 pity system of the other games, so on average you'll get the rate up every 68 pulls. In Hoyo you'll get the limited on average in around 94 pulls, and Wuwu/GFL2 in around 84 pulls.

For any NEW players still seeing this, do this!- DONOT immediately use the discounted standard banner. Use the choice banner to get a dps, preferably Encore or calcharo (I would suggest encore cause she dishes out a lot of dmg) Save up on your asterites and any other pulls you get from ascension, level up and mails. When you have about 16000 asterites, or a 100 pulls, choose a limited banner of your choice and pull for the character, in the event that you lose your 50/50. You are guaranteed the next one, in the mean while, you can plan to use the discounted standard banner to effectively plan to get copies of the standard 5 star that you want to enhance their abilities and usage. Also, if you plan to get a dps limited 5 star make sure to grab their weapon as well since the rng rate of wuwa is very good and you may get it early if you're lucky

So far my only complaint compared to other gacha games is it sticks heavily to the "one 4* every 10 pulls" rule. Out of around 140ish pulls I've gotten a 4* in under 10 pulls like twice maybe 😅 but hearing the weapon banner is guaranteed is pretty rad

hey so I pulled Jianxin on the discounted banner should I choose verina still or go for encore with my ticket

So to help weigh your options here: Verina is gonna outlast encore eventually and will be more valuable. If you’re more than a casual player, this might be the pick. However, getting encore right now would give you a much much easier time in the game for a while and you’re more than fine with baizhi as your healer (especially for casual play). Encore will be replaced with a better limited 5 star fusion character later tho (I predict this will be soon) also you should make sure you like her play style (check KZbin videos of her) What are your thoughts?

Lol it happened to you multiple times that you got pulled two 5 stars in one ten pull? It never happened to me even once. Its not weird for that to not happen, it is much weirder for it to happen multiple times :D

That's awesome! Honestly, I'd say either jianxin or encore: If you want another main damage dealer and like her playstyle, encore could be a good pick right now. You can't go wrong with Jianxin for support for the long term future, she buffs up resonance liberation damage and that comes in handy, especially for f2p players

Yes your pity count for limited banners is 50 right now so you will get a 5 star in another 30 pulls on the carlotta or any limited character banner! Good luck!

I pulled Encore on beginner banner, should i choose Verina on my other banner that i can choose a hero. I have Baizhi awaken 1 time, also watched another guide and the dude said that you will have 2 times to choose a hero you want, not just once, is that true. Thanks.

Congrats! Encore is great. Yes get Verina for sure! After those 2 banners, there’s another banner where you can pick BUT you need to pull 80 times to get the choice so it’s a little different. Good luck!
