Oh thank you, this so brought back to mind the film "Parfume" directed by Tom Tykwer, which was so memorable, macabre and tragic about a boy with a marvelous 'nose'. One of those rare films that you never can forget because of place, atmosphere and story. But it was lovely to see Grasse in the sun. 🙂

My husband and I did a perfume-making class at Fragonard in Eze that was so fun and unique. We each made our own blend, and then the person who taught the class walked us around the gift shop and answered all our questions. The staff are very welcoming and helpful!

Hi 👋, French Vibes, Thank you for sharing your experience in Grasse , it is a beautiful city to visit, with exquisite architecture, Back in 2003/4, I went to a Harley Davidson rally in St Tropez, And decided on the way back I would go back a different route so I wrote way along the coast, and then wrote up to Grasse , Something that stands out that I remember, that there was firetrucks just off one of the roundabouts, put it out the fire that had started probably through somebody throwing out cigarettes or something, Sadly, I did not really have a moment to stop in the city , My ex partner is not into architecture as such, and does not like cathedrals or churches, I never did find out the reason why, but hopefully later in this year, a great possibility that I will be going down to St Tropez again and probably along the coast roads and then I can stop when and where I would like, And hoping to purchase another camera, so I can record some pictures photographs, thank you for sharing the perfume city of France. It is amazing place, from the moulin,

Last August we were in Grasse and stayed in the building with entry to la Mama restaurant where you were eating lunch😅 It was top floor and the views were stunning. We loved the city of Grasse and surrounding areas even though it was extremely crowded. Bought really lovely perfumes with cheap prices 😊

So fun to watch! My kids and I visited Grasse when we were staying in Menton this summer. I was surprised how much my 3 teenage boys enjoyed the tour of Fragonard--they all left with fragrances they picked out. 😄I wish we'd had time to explore more of Grasse, but what we saw was lovely!❤ Would love to go back and see the cathedral you showed us and that gorgeous Molinard parfumerie! Making your own fragrance seems like an unforgettable experience!

I have been to a Frangonard factory but I don't remember it being in Grasse. It was 20 years ago. Was the factory in a different location before? Thank you for showing the beautiful cathedral.
