I feel like this movie definitely had a opportunity to be a theatrical release. This movie had a really good story and plot and new characters but the animation does not hold up to the first movie. I feel like they should have given this movie a higher animation budget and made it a theatrical release because it honestly deserved to be seen in theaters. If it was a theatrical release then I think a lot more people would remember it and it wouldn’t be considered on the crappy Disney Sequel list.

They should have kept the deleted scenes, Zira wanting to die and Nuka final last words and Zira explains Kovu’s place in the story. Please Disney if you can, remaster this and add the deleted cut into it. I know you can, you’ve done it for Pocahontas

That was a very good documentary. I especially liked the part where the guy talked about getting the body language of the lions down pat to express emotions in a realistic and convincing manner. I only wish they had interviewed some of the actors…especially Suzanne Pleshette. She rocked it hard.
