When Alfred Hitchcock Hired Hank Mancini..Hitch told Henry…I do not want your score to sound like Benny Herrmann music! When Hitchcock heard this music on the scoring stage, Hitch went ballistic..screaming at Henry Mancini..I told you not to score it sounding like Bernard Herrmann…cue in Rod Goodwin.
