@@CreativePadMedia Question.. in the beginning of the process when we do the initial Gaussian Blur, (before doing grain extract), if you blur a little more or a little less how does this impact the rest of the process? For example if you blur a little more, does this end up preserving more or less texture?

@@sevoruc If you blur too much, larger areas with different tones may start to appear as texture, making the separation less effective. You don't want these parts to be considered as texture because you want the ability to correct them on the layer in which you are evening out the tones. The texture layer should only have noticeable small textures, which are obtained by using a moderate blur value.
