i didn't understand by take int org_num ? as we already have num?

In while loop num value turns 0 so if we give num== rev it turns false. So we apply org_num.its like If a=10 and b=a(num and org_num=num) So a and b values are 10.

we can firstly check if number is having even number digits of odd....for palindrome number has to be odd number digits 1234 is not palindrome
