Always nice to give the salmon a little taste of a 6 foot cedar log during the dispatch process. Flavor really comes out during the grilling process.

Melt stick of butter, sour cream, and some lemon juice. All to taste. Place red onion rings on salmon fillets, pour sauce over fillet, shredded sharp cheddar cheese sprinkled over salmon, cook at 350 for about 35 minutes or until done. Taste great with halibut as well ✌🏼🍣🎣!

Take the filet. put on 2 layers of tin foil. cut up some green onion, cilantro, garlic, 1-2 Thai peppers, lemon grass, salt & black pepper. Add water to cover fish. Fold the tin foil to keep all the steam inside to cook the fish. Place tinfoil over the stove top at medium-low level. Simple but very tasty. Hmong style

Jon I’ve been trying to get you to grill some salmon on a brown paper bag on the grill and show everyone that it tastes way better grilled instead of in a pan or the oven!! I’ll just put a little salt and pepper on the fish and when all done put some fresh lemon on the fish along with a little bit of BBQ sauce brushed on the fish Wright before it is done!! Definitely one of my favorite ways to eat salmon!!! When my better half and I went to the big ten tournament in Chicago we ate at a seafood restaurant and I had seen they had bbq salmon grilled I was definitely skeptical of trying some but after trying it oh it’s definitely my top 3 ways to eat salmon for sure!!!

I live in MN, the land of bland when it comes to food. Local Thai restaurant has really good beef and broccoli and they have 5 chili peppers next to it, you point at the chili level of heat you want. I told the waiter(Native Thai..) to make it the way he would eat it... he looked at me like I was crazy, shrugged and wrote down make it homemade style. The staff were all staring as I took a bite, expecting me to suffer from the heat level LOL when I added some extra chili oil they gasped... I could hear them whispering about the loco eating food that was beyond hot... Now I need to try and find that BBQ sauce! Sounds right up my alley! Next time you cook it instead of freeze then cube add a few drops of fish sauce. You won't taste it directly but it adds a background complexity a stir fry needs! And you need a wok there! Just a cheap flat bottom carbon steel wok that will work on the stove burners. Mine gets so much use it is non stick now, like a well seasoned antique(not new Lodge, that stuff is to rough surfaced to take a good season) cast iron pan. Lodge cast iron I take a flap disc on my grinder and smooth the surface, 80 grit to start, then I finish with 220 grit(you want a little roughness but not the gravel bed factory finish). Then season as you normally would after a good cleaning.

Cap’n Crunch salmon recipe: Here is my Cap’n Crunch salmon recipe. Take your salmon and cut it into brownie sized squares. (Get all the bones out) Take 5 cups of Cap’n Crunch and 2 table spoons of granulated garlic and put it a blender and set it to low and crunch it up about as fine as bread crumbs. You can also put it in a ziploc bag and smash it with a rolling pin or rubber hammer, just don’t get too crazy or you can poke holes in the ziploc, that’s why the blender is a better idea. Pat dry your salmon and shake it in a ziploc bag with flour, johnnys seasoning and pepper. (To taste) Then dip your salmon in beaten egg wash and then roll it in the Cap’n crunch. Cook it in medium high peanut oil ( it has to be peanut oil.) until golden brown on both sides. Mix half mayonnaise/ half sweet chili sauce. Dip the salmon in the sauce and prepare for an orgasm. ❤️❤️
