The first song KDA did was PopStars and was made to promote the new PopStar skins that were going to be released in League of Legends. They are voiced by 4 known artists, just not always the same 4. Soyeon and Miyeon returned for this song but Maddison Beer and Jaira Burns did not. They were replaced with Bea Miller and Wolftyla. As to the whole album when it comes out, it may have other people taking over for different songs. I assume we won't know until it comes out. I will say Akali was voiced by Soyeon in the 2 K/DA songs and in True Damage. So hopefully she is more a permanent fixture as she is my favorite from K/DA.

Four characters from the game make up the group. They are represented by the artists in the song. Two consistent ones have been from g-idle. The Korean rapper also reprised her role as Akali (the sort of ninja chick) in giants. So she and ahri (the fox girl) played by the other member of g-idle have come back, but the people representing the other 2 members changed. Like how in the song "Giants" by tru damage had 2 different people rapping for the same character. Which is why his two verses sounded so different

Okay . . . hopefully the explanation that works. K/DA as a group . . . only exists in the imaginary League of Legends universe. :-). the CHARACTERS are part of the group. However, the characters are voiced by REAL PEOPLE. In all of the performances, Soyeon is the voice of Akali. It appears she will CONTINUE in that role for the foreseeable future, but . . . not necessarily. (it'd be stupid to NOT have her do that, but whatever) Miyeon has been the voice of Ahri in two videos now. Evelynn was voiced by Madison Beer in Pop/Stars, and Bea Miller in this song. Kai'Sa was voiced by Jaira Burns in Pop/Stars, and Wolftyla in this song. This VIRTUAL group is going to release a REAL EP . . . performed by the same REAL PEOPLE that did this song. (There's rumor of a fifth "member" named Seraphine that will join for later tracks, but no word if that's true, or who will be her voice.) It's all a big promotional stunt for Riot's "Pop Star" skins. But when the released Pop/Stars, they accidentally created such a freakin' phenomenal song people wanted more. Giants, the song performed by the OTHER fictional group True Damage (incidentally, also with Akali as a member, ALSO voiced by Soyeon) was awesome, but didn't hit quite as hard as Pop/Stars did . . . so this year, they're going back to having K/DA release a LOT more music. Long and short . . . it's all Riot's composers and producers finding a reason to pull in some solid performer talent and make some freakin' spectacular music, all in the name of promotion and selling their games. Their music is bitchin' and they could just have a music company and make a killing. But we get badass games, too. Don't be confused! Just be blown away, and play this on repeat until the album, and the new music video come out . . . probably JUST before Worlds. Oh . . . and if the past is any guide, the REAL PERFORMERS will likely perform at the opening ceremony, probably with holographic projections of the characters they're voicing right alongside them. You should DEFINITELY watch those, too.

Riot makes cosmetic skin lines that take existing characters and puts them in 'what if' situations, basically alternate universe versions. In this case, 'what if' the assassin Akali, fox girl Ahri, demon Evelyn, and void warrior Kai'sa were in a KPOP group called KDA. To make this come to life they hired four artists to voice these cartoon video game characters in the song POP/STARS. Because it was SUCH a hit Riot is bringing it back but has only kept two of the same artists (G Idle Soyeon and Miyeon voicing Akali and Ahri) the other two are new to the project but are voicing the same characters the previous girls did in POPSTARS (Evelyn and Kai'sa).

I’m struggling to explain this myself haha 😂 KDA is a group of animated characters, so I-DLE and 3 other real humans will be the voice actors for the group. Tho voices for Evelyn & Kai’sa were replaced with Bea & Wolf, the names of the characters will stay the same. So it’s not wrong to say that Yes all these people together are KDA. - Riot did give them a live performance, once with KDA and another with True Damage ( their other virtual group ) - Virtual bands are on the rise and I can see this becoming a trend soon, especially during the current situation. Groups like Interlunium and it’s many rival groups, Kerberos & Up in coming Pastel Project in the Interlunium universe are gaining a good following, mostly because of their diversity and ability to take on Jpop, KPop & American pop music each release. The members are from all around the world, most of their characters have up to 2 or more voice actors to help with language barriers.

In the LoL multiverse there is a "musical universe" in wich there are some groups like K/DA or True Damage. KDA is the fictional in-game character group of Ahri, Akali, Kai'sa, and Evelyn. The characters are the one's performing (in theory) as they own the song. That said, the characters are voiced by humans.. but they can change it up based on need. Thus far, in the existence of KDA, Ahri has been voiced by Miyeon of GIdle, Akali is Soyeon of Gidle, and the other two characters have had alternating voices. For all intents and purposes, consider the KDA group (Ahri, Akali, Kai'sa, Evelyn) to be a in-world (Earth) group. They have their own Twitter feed and there's also a new member joining soon known as Seraphine (new champion in LOL for 10.24 and likely for worlds).. she has 2 covers on soundcloud, her own twitter, her own instagram, and people are ripping her videos from there to put on youtube and they've got roughly 2 million views accrued... mostly for Childhood Dreams. I has a picture of each character, their name, and the name of the person playing that part underneath (except in the song Villain bc its only one character singing, so there are pics of the real people not the character.) Its like that. There are many characters in league of legends. Riot gets money by selling cosmetics (skins) for those Characters (champions). These 4 skins are a music group, called K/DA. Those consist out of those champions in these outfits (skins). [Its like if there are in comics, if there are more versions of Batman - they dont really are the same person] So these characters from lol in this Band have their own story, and are written to live in the real world (like in a movie that isnt based on facts) There are k-pop singers, that perform this live and on such videos. But these names like for example Bea Miller wouldnt be associated to KDA in this fictional world scenario: There, Kda Popstars was a mega success, that made them giga famous, so 1 of those characters, akali, switched to a new band from riot and made a song there. They are a "virtual band", cause the characters like akali dont exist here in our world and are voiced and played by really existing persons. But in the story, they live in San Francisco, if I remember it correctly. You can play as such character in league though (those shown in their first music video), This is in the end a mega promotion for their cosmetics and esports tournaments. But be aware, this year, there gonna be a lot of it. :D

No no see, the singers have counter parts or characters assigned to them in game. The characters in the game with the singer voices are the K/DA virtual group. The reason why they are called a "virtual" group is because Soyeon, MIyeon, Wolftyla and Bea Miller are NOT an official girl group. They voice a girl group that are not real, hence the virtual part. So KDA is Akali, Kai'sa, Evelynn & Ahri but if they didn't have real counter parts they won't have voices. Counter parts this round: Ahri- Miyeon Akali - Soyeon Kai'sa/Evelynn - Wolf Tyla/Bea Miller The good thing about virtual groups is the featured artist assigned to a character can be changed. Old K/DA counter parts: Ahri - Miyeon Akali - Soyeon Kai'sa - Jaira Burns Evelynn - Madison Beer There is more expression with regards to voices because you can just look for someone with almost the same voice and do more things like here they made Evelynn sing more and they made Kai'sa rap with different singers assigned to them.

Actually K/DA its a line of skins in lague of legends. The music videos are a way to promote the skins and the game. The game itselfe has a lo of lore, and its separates, you have the "original" lore with the characters in their normal stage (Without skins), then you have alternative universes (made by the different types of skins). K/DA in particular happend in our world, supposedly they are a group that make concerts and go around the world with their music. isn't that hard... KDA is a virtual kpop group into league of legend, it have 4 members: ahri akali evelin and kai sa. The real ppl sing the song are collegate at 1 of the members i write first: Ahri -->Miyeon Akali-->Soyeon Evelin-->bea miller?!(i presume) Kai sa-->WOlftyla on the past record, pop star, evelin and kaisa was singed from other 2 girls....but this normaly never happen into league...normaly when a human person is collegate at a league carachter will be forever. sorry for my sucky english ps anyway from 2day they now have a funbase and an ep wil come soon... this mean riot will invest more and more into KDA this will not be last time we listen her sing
