Fresh Rice Noodles Ho Fun | 河粉

Let’s make our own homemade rice noodles today! The rice noodles which we are making today are the thick version Shahe fen or Ho Fan/Ho Fun . These 3 ingredient rice noodle recipe
have a chewy and springy texture.
We will be going over 2 methods to make these noodles. The first method is to steam rice noodle mixture in a steam-able plate and the second method I will be showing you how to use a cheesecloth to make ho fun noodles . This is a super simple how to make fresh rice noodles video.

I am First!😛🌈 These are my favorite noodles. I've never done it using cheesecloth, it did turn out thinner but seems like it's more work. Although, both turn out great, I'll stick to the first method. This recipe is so easy and the result is perfect. I cannot wait until you next week to see my favorite dish, I order it every time I see it on a menu. Great editing, nice aesthetic and awesome recipe. Haha, no need to order it anymore. It's actually really simple. The method using the plate only is a little bit easier. So if you'd like to try it out i'd recommend that. They're chewy and stretchy.

Can I use corn starch (cornflour here in the UK)?

You can substitute the tapioca starch with cornstarch. The noodles won't turn out as chewy if using cornstarch but it'll work 😊 You can't substitute the rice flour though ｡◕‿◕｡
