There is a technique called Resource Levelling which would unburden over allocated resources and utilize the under-utilized resources. Reports like Resource usage view help in this regard. This topic can be looked up w.r.to MPP. Hope it helps.

Hello Radu. I could not solve some issues regarding cost especially. for example I have a task A and on the task A was assigned as work as well as cost but - for example when the Task A is done in 100% - remaining column cost value shows that cost still not done. this is really weird..

Thank you for this walkthrough @Radu. You helped me understand better in order to evaluate if Microsoft Project is a solution that I shall use or any other type of solution. Question: If you have people/workers as resources, created by name, like a resource named Radu Popa whom I'd like to assign to specific tasks in a project and I want them (workers) to be able to see a chart/calendar (online) that shows when they should work and with which task. Do this person (Radu Popa) need a personal Microsoft Project license in order to be able to see it? Thank you very much for your guide and your English is easy to understand. :)

For working on the MS Project file, they need the License. But you can generate PDF(print) and distribute the plan to your team mates
