Everytime I hear Stewart talking, I think about "Home Improvement" and Tim's neighbor who we heard but never saw!! I imagine many other people try to catch a glimpse of him in a window or door reflection like me. Great relationship between you two! Oh, and I love the porch refresh ❤️

Zone 7a- high desert NM…I’ve thought of that TV series many time because of Stewart 😆…Garden is beautiful Linda, I have bought a variegated boxwood and a saved a topiary lemon cypress from Christmas so I can have a little Linda Vater in the high desert💚…No worries they will only get morning ☀️…I just love so many styles of gardening and I refuse to only have hot xeric landscaping as so many others have here…My garden beds have a dwarf purple smoke bush, a pugster butterfly bush, Carl forester grass, pink/white guara, lemonjade sedum, firefly peach colored yarrow, violet pin cushion flowers, mid night masquerade penstemon, pink and white coneflowers, peach & pink landscape roses, purple illusion Veronica, Helene Von Stein lambs ear and more 😌…

Hi from Annie in Australia, your place looks great lots of green nice to see more flowers too. I like to place bit more furniture around along with lots of flowers real and material or silk ones done in an arrangement. I am hoping to include tulips and other bulbs in to the garden but they are very expensive to buy have to save up. Many plants that I have bought from shops have not always grown well some have just fizzled out after a short time, I complain the the plant shops but they don't care just want there money, they make such huge profits as it is.

Thanks for this video, always so inspired when I watch you do garden tasks like these. I‘ve been back and forward about when and how I should add my boxwoods (that are currently growing in several places of my garden) to my container arrangements. We had some serious winds last week and they blew my blooming bulbs in all directions🙈 I feel like boxwoods will help bring back some equilibrium to the arrangements. Also love the use some herbs in your window box. Thanks for the inspirations💚

You just made me feel better by referring to squirrels as "annoying"! Until recently we haven't had too many in our neighborhood, but lately they've been a real nuisance. I'm in the process of doing some re-potting, etc. with a lot of my many large planters, and I keep finding walnuts buried so neatly that unless and until I "dig in" I'd never expect to see them. So I'm now sprinkling garlic powder, crushed pepper, etc. around plants, and when I put bulbs into planters I'll have to add some tooth picks!

The bunny is so cute in your cloud topiary. In my zone 8b I usually refresh my porch pot twice..once in spring and once in fall. Fall planting gets layers of bulbs tucked in beneath cabbages and other winter color. Spring gets summer annuals for more color and I leave a central evergreen shrub year round for height. Stewart’s happy little cloud made me laugh. You are a great team.

I keep, all year around, 3 grey planter pots on the front door stoop....at Christmas/January, I pop in a pre made HomeDepot greens planter... (stuck in that green foam with sticks, greens, pinecones, red twigs, bow)... in February/March,... I leave the greens as they are still great!, take out the bow and the red twigs...and add in a birdhouse, and pussywillow branches...April it stays empty until May long weekend...then I pop in a Greenhouse Hanging basket but I cut off the hangie things... this is good til September...then the fall mums go in... mid Sept to beginning of November... then wash, rinse , and repeat!

Here in Belgium, we bring the boxwood clippings to church ...for Palm Sunday. ( I belief in other countries they do it also.) Dont you use the clippings for your Easter decoration ? Love the Easter rabbit integrated in your boxwood. Here in West Flanders we have a serious problem ( boxwood moth / catterpillars) many people replace them by thougher shrubs. Once I saw very old boxwoods in flower ... little white flowers with a special mild scent. Adorable. Kind regards, Marcus

I can see an interesting home across the street over your right shoulder, style similar to yours. Are these neighbors gardeners? Would there be an interesting garden tour of this yard/garden?

I have a bench with a cushion on one side of my front porch- There are 3 outdoor tables used as a console table - center table is slightly taller against a wall with a large mirror over the center table. I always wrap the bench cushion in a seasonally appropriate fabric with matching throw cushions. I’m not a pagan - so there aren’t any bunnies. On the other side of the porch- there’s a 2 seater rocker with a skirted table. The table skirt coincides with the bench cushion across the porch. The front door is between both vignettes. Those are THE BEST SHEARS of all In season- the plants are changed appropriately.

What's the best way to use oregano? I have been growing this for a few years, and dry it out in fall, but separating the stems from the leaves is tedious. I tried using it freshly picked, but it didn't really have much taste (it had the smell tough). Thanks.

Zone 3b. Please , could the famous Stewart mike up? We’d love to hear everything he has to say! Your yard looks amazing! Here in Manitoba we’re expecting what could be the worst blizzard in decades on the 13th! So no pretty yards to us for awhile!😱😱

Unfortunately, here where I live, we can’t always refresh with plantings. Sometimes it’s just too cold. But I do like to set up my porch with benches and pillows with throws when weather permits. I also change out my Decour seasonally or for holidays. I have a collection of doormats, much to my husband’s dismay.😄 I always change out my wreaths and door decor. And sometimes I create little vignettes. Right now, on my front porch, I have a flower stand and a potting bench with some faux daffodils and tulips and other spring flowers. I’m not a huge fan of people putting fake flowers out in their landscape, but if they are quality flowers it does look better. And you have to choose ones that would naturally be blooming at that point in time. Also with natural colors. Unfortunately these flowers would not be able to bloom in my landscape right now but they are available at grocery stores and garden centers. This way I can have a pretty spring display and be able to reuse it in other ways. My husband is not a huge fan of what he calls “wasting” Money on flowers that don’t last very long.
