Hi Jimmy, just as you mentioned klute there...is it really as bad as it's made out to be? And what's the Durham nightlife like as a whole? Do you go out in Newcastle much?

Klute is absolutely awful, it's so bad that it's actually really fun to go. It prizes itself to be the worst nightclub in Europe. Durham nightlife is one of a kind. It's so much fun because everything is just so terrible. Everyone loves it. People do go to Newcastle (not often) but I have never been and never saw the appeal.

Did you find that you wore the fancy dress you bought more than once? Because I'm looking into buying fancy dress for freshers week and i'm not sure whether to invest in something cheap that I would be okay with only wearing once, or something more expensive and longer-lasting that I would wear multiple times?

Some of the stuff I did but others I'd only touched once. Just get something cheap so you don't have to worry about ruining it on a social or an ent when you drink.

Do I need black tie attire?

Yep, you will need that for Ladies Night in November, Halfway Hall in February. Then you'll need white tie for June Ball. You can either rent one or purchase one online somewhere.
