About to join the "weight loss program" too. Waiting for my hp shit to come in Tuesday. How long do you think it took to do it all? I was told around 15 hours. Anything you ran into that was a pain or anything. Any insight helps. Truck sounds great!

Derick Buffard awesome!!!!! You’re gonna love it. Whole process too around 20 hours. Although I didn’t do all the work myself the exhaust removal was one of the hardest things because everything is so tight. The driver side up pipe bolts were a fairy tale as well. Xlandscaper, nice video and the one thing I liked about your L5P delete video over every other one out there is that you said something about the "little black box" delete underneath the truck. I just purchased an 2018 and was looking into the kit like yours but nobody could tell me about that portion of the delete. So I am guessing that goes away with this kit?

Shane Salanga thank you! Yes that large ugly black box is the def fluid tank... that is one of the 1st things that gets removed in the “weight reduction process” as you will no longer need that thing.👍👍👍

Click that link for deleting your L5P let your straight piped deleted L5P do the rest of the talking. One nice thing about Saskatchewan is it'll never ever be illegal to delete a new diesel or gas truck😜

No it didn’t come with any instructions. There is an instructional pdf floating around somewhere. At the end of the day it’s just nuts and bolts. Simple right? Lol

Question about the L5P unlocked ECM TCM. My truck is used in a commercial setting for hauling freight on a flatbed I've had nothing but problems with emissions and continuous service emissions message and the countdown to death limp mode... speed limited and then the dreaded dealer lengthy repairs and huge bill for the repair. In the last 7 weeks I've spent over $10,000 on this poison truck. Being a commercial vehicle deleting the EGR isn't an option because if the DOT police at the scale houses and the annual inspection they won't pass it with the emission deleted. If I was to get the Unlocked ECM and TCM and not delete the EGR would this be of benefit to me when it goes into limp mode or am I barking up the wrong tree. I'm just so sick of this truck costing me money I'm about ready to drive it in the ocean .

Man oh man am I sorry!!! I’ve heard horrible things about these emission systems and your case is the exact reason I chose to do the work... If you just get the ecm/tcm it should remove the limp mode/ codes you have for the egr/dpf but idk how it would effect it long term as the unlocked/ tune basically thinks the components are “removed” and the tune is calibrated for such. That’s a great question to ask motor ops. I’m sure they can better answer but I think they will say exactly what said.

So to anyone planning on using these beautiful trucks for commercial hauling I can tell everyone from experience that they will break down and cost you a ton of money... such a shame that they promote them as work trucks but they are in reality not capable of that in the real world without deleting the EGR wich is impossible if it's commercially registered . Thanks for the reply and in the future I think my High Country is going to have to retire from commercial hauling at a very young age :(

I’ve run all three tunes that MO has. For everyday driving and towing I run the tow tune. Has good power, excellent fuel economy gain, shift points are great and very little to no smoke. Oh and it sounds Sick too!!

Alex Tovar the truck is such a beast now. Runs mint and I haven't had any issues. There were some bugs on the earlier tunes but motor ops ironed them out. 100% recommend it bud

Did you have to buy the can communication harness from motor ops to use with their tunes?

You will need the MVPI2 from HP Tuners along with Credits to flash the tunes from MO to your unlocked ECM

I have everything from hp tuners. I also have nox plugs, all the piping from wheli, flo pro 5 inch exhaustn hsp cold air intake, egr fix kit, thermostat bypass. All i need now is tunes. Trying to decide between ctt or motor ops

There is a very very slight and I mean slight drone at 56-60 mph but other than that nothing. Mild when your easy and raspy and aggressive when your not with no annoying tinny drone sound

@@guillaumegouin485 hey yes to get a louder sound you should have gone with a 5” exhaust. That will get you the most sound. The aftermarket down pipe is needed to connect the aftermarket exhaust and that removes the scr and other crap that bolted to the back of the stock turbo

Duviel Hernandez only issue( not really a big deal) the voltage is a little high at 15.3v. Other than that it runs awesome with no other issues. My truck runs awesome

They are the factory rims that came on the truck. They also come on the midnight edition.

Thank you!! Yes 100% I'd do it again. It's definitely not cheap by any means but the sound, power and prolonged longevity of the engine make the cost a little easier to swallow. As for the 550HP tune, from what Motor ops said its pushing the limits of the stock trans and it my only last a year or so obviously depending on how you drive and if you tow. That being said even with the tow tune 80+ rwhp (490 RWHP & 1,000 RWTQ) the truck now is an absolute beast and a blast to drive and the trans should last long enough to save for a built one eventually.

I also did buy the tuning package that included all three tunes tow 490rwhp/sport econ 550rwhp / race 600+rwhp so if i wanna burn some rubber i can always do a quick flash

Even with the trans tune they don’t recommend running the 550 tune? I really want to delete mine but hear hit and miss reviews on motor ops. Any regrets or wish you could get a different tune?

West27 so far the truck runs awesome and the tune is really really clean. They said the higher tune really is maxing out the Stock Allison and will definitely hinder its longevity. So far I am 100% happy with Motor ops
