I've been nailed by a stingray at the beach in San Diego. It hurt like nothing I have ever experienced in this life. The hotel doctor said "there's nothing I can do. Get yourself a bottle of tequila, pour half of it on the sting and drink the other half. That's all I can recommend." Freshwater stingrays sting also, don't they?

It’s growing on me a lot, been down here 10 years now. Was always planning on moving back but not the case anymore, all my family is here now so makes that even easier. The heat sucks in the summer but you kind of get used to it (not really lol)

I realize that this was posted long ago but I still wanna ask. You probably already covered it in the video but I'm Swedish so bare with me! I'm gonna get a 160 gallon tank with peacock cichlids in it (I've only had mbunas before so this would be new to me). Is there ANY stingray that would fit with that?

Yes, no problem. I have stingray, myself with long nose gar it’s not a problem and my friend has one with his peacock Kelberi & occelaris Always monitor them in the beginning if it is fine.

Dan H Should be fine, but sometimes Discus can get nippy with the rays. Also, make sure the Discus aren’t too small otherwise they’ll make good feeders for the rays!
