Blake Mills & Bill Frisell at the Fretboard Summit - "Blood in My Eyes"

Yet another highlight from the 2015 Fretboard Summit: Blake Mills inviting Bill Frisell onstage to perform “Blood in My Eyes.” This Mississippi Sheiks' tune was covered by Bob Dylan on his 'World Gone Wrong' album.

Frisell’s playing is really tasteful. He chooses at 2:11 not to play. All about the notes you don’t play

That is a lot of Tremelo. Possibly too much of a good thing. ;) The bass notes on the Gibson 330 sound really good.

To get picky, the picking is much better than the singing, which is overdone...suggest don’t close your eyes because you disappear up your own
