As much as I've studied and worked towards playing at the caliber of guys like joe pass (of course always a long way to go) i struggle to find the same joy I do in music that is perhaps a bit simpler and emotive- there's just more power in it for me personally. I really love this channel because I feel there's obviously a similar ethos- as an aspiring guitarist I would know I've done something right if I could one day play on fretboard journal!

Bill Frisell is a serious "Gearfreak" (I say that with love). He gathers dozens of strange guitars, with mods and unique pickup configurations, bigsby bridges, pedals, etc.

Funny thing, how it's called "G Minor" but the actual key is D minor. Might refer to the emotional impact the minor IV-step (G minor) inflicts. It is indeed profoundly beautiful

randomlygeneratedusername overrated as what? He makes no end of beautiful music and he has been an influence on how others play. Perhaps it doesn't matter how you personally rate him.

randomlygeneratedusername Good. You seem to understand.
@mojostflorian8 жыл бұрын
randomlygeneratedusername, coming anonymously around the corner and dissing people for something they can do is something without worth. Insulting others with a different view does not make it better. If you want to make the world a better place, find someone you like and praise him/her. But throwing tomatoes at someone widely respected but you do not like is nothing else than pissing at a tree.
