Then he has thre more normal strings. I bet this cannot be played in any sort of commonly used guitar tuning eighter. Plus its fretless, but thats one of the only modifications on this instrument that people normally do. You dont see how that would affect play? At all? @@samuelzetterman i dont think is a negative opionon he had, and also i think he is right. first of all do you play guitar? if you do you would understand this, there is only one string that is off and it is the A string that goes on the D slot on the Nut, therefore the playing is only affected a little bit by that and the frets. there is no reason to change the tunning but he probably did and that doesnt affect your playing at all you just need to understand more music theory. and then there is the E string on top wich doesnt bother att all the other srting and is tuned like a top base string. and then the different type of string he used, but fundamentally is like playing a weird guitar, if you know how to play guitar with just a lillte practice you could play that, is not hate or anything but is not the skill of his playing that he is showing on the video he is just showing the sound of his creation

So I converted another one without putting resonating strings, to be played slide, lap style, with four playing strings tuned D A D G and two "chikari" strings. The "indian guitar", or mohan veena, is very close to it and is played slide lap style too.
