I'm American. I'd use curtains more than drapes but they're pretty interchangeable. Blinker is also correct.. you also hear turn signal but you hear blinkers all the time. Gear shift is shifter period. I pretty much always agree with Harry's little outbursts.. he's generally correct in this and other videos! If you're gonna do the this tuoe of video you should have an actual American consult on the answers. I know Vik has a lot of American friends.. just ask them to check!

I wouldn’t say curtains and drapes are interchangeable. Drapes are usually used for ‘curtains’ that are heavier, thicker and more premium than the standard curtain. It is a word used in the US sometimes (at least more than UK I’d say), but it’s not really used much and it is not an exact synonym of curtains

In America we have Jam. The picture shown in video would be Jam in America bc Jelly is purple. Curtains are Curtains. Estate Agents are Estate Agents.

It would be preserves in the US not Jam because it has whole/cut pieces of fruit, while jam has mashed fruit and Jelly does not need to be purple, it is just fruit spread made using only the juice. Drapes are a specific type of curtains, made with a heavier cloth and often weighted at the bottom. And for both pacifier/binky and estate agents/realtor those are both regional variations.
