My granny loved Dean Martin. I wish she could see this. We had a local radio station that would play a song for you and tell your name and give you birthday or anniversary wishes on air. All you had to do was send a post card with the info. I did that for granny because I knew she always listened to that station when she was in the kitchen cooking. She was just thrilled!! She talked about it for weeks, and so many of her family and friends heard it that she would say that Dean Martin made her famous...LOL. Great memories brought back thanks for your video.

As for the drinking Idk how we don't know the absolute truth about this. I've read that he was not a big drinker, I've also read that he loved to drink. Basically everyone of his stature and fame was at least a social drinker back then and if he was fake drinking then he was a great actor at it. And even back then anyone with half a brain knew inhaling smoke into your lungs was not natural and not a good thing. It's just common sense and people back then had much more common sense than the average person these days. But smoking was pleasurable. Relaxing. Nobody lives forever and who wants to live past 80 anyway.

@@epfanforever Dean was a very good golfer and enjoyed golf probably even more than recreational sex. The "apple juice" story is old and creaky. Dean Martin was indeed a heavy drinker as witnessed on the Johhny Carson show. The “he had apple juice in his glass and wasn’t a heavy drinker”, was made up by his agent because Dean was getting a reputation for being a drunk and that would have hurt his career and that came straight from his agent.

We watched this happen to my 61year old sister who smoked from age 8 (yes, her and my other sister used to steal cigarettes and smoke them). Both died from lung issues. We had to give her morphine as soon as she gained consciousness because she was choking on her lung fluids. It sounded like heavy bubbles when she tried to breathe. Horrible!
