Fr. Chris, I really loved this homily. I love how you mentioned about how your mom had a glow to her after she passed away because of how she went peacefully. When I started praying for her two years ago after she had her fall, I kept asking God that when it's time for her passing that she please go peacefully. I often shake my head whenever I hear about all that was done with the Shroud just to prove that Jesus did exist. That's to me is only the physical evidence that proves that Jesus did exist. Once Jesus rose from the dead, within the Bible alone, you have to first ask yourself how many people did He come physically in contact with other than all of the disciples? Once you come to the end of the Bible, then there's the question of how many people did He also appear to over the centuries and what were the similarities that Jesus said to each of these people vs. the differences that Jesus said to these people. As an example of what I mean, take first the Diary of St. Faustina, which is not even a century old yet, and then compare it to "The Life and Revelations of Saint Gertrude the Great" who was born in 1263. Those two saints are obviously two different saints that Jesus both appeared to while Jesus appears to St. Gertrude several centuries earlier than St. Faustina. This should prove, what you've always said about Jesus being outside of time. The fact that St. John was the first out of the Apostles to actually believe makes total sense because he's the only one out of the twelve Apostles to stay and watch what Jesus actually went through during His entire crucifixion. God bless you Fr. Chris now and always and I hope that your retreat gives you much needed rest while in His presence with many blessings.

You help us open our minds and hearts to understand how important confession is, and to deeply reflect the truth of God’s love for us. Merry Christmas Day 3. Continued prayers for the repose of the soul of your mom, Father Chris and the well-being of your dad. You gave us so much great teaching this morning but what struck me the most and what I am in need of the most is to be merciful. Christmas holidays are prime time for family members to push each other’s buttons and cause hurt feelings. I guess I have to put the feelings aside and just forgive and pray for those who have wronged me because it’s my obligation. I don’t have to want to I just have to do it I went back and read yesterday’s readings about Saint Stephen and that helped. I’m almost there. God bless you, Father Chris thank you for everything.

Before attending this Mass today by livestream, I listened to a beautiful talk all about Saint John--it was so informative, so I was fully prepared for your Homily on Saint John and his feast day today. The Gospel of Saint John is one of my favorite Scripture Readings for I always felt that by reading it, one can really get to know the Real Person of Jesus Christ from His Beloved Apostle, Blessed Saint John. He also must have been so close to Blessed Mother and loved her so much.

Dear Fr. Chris, An almost Happy New Year to you and all your wonderful Marian brothers in Christ.. Thank you all for the Joy you have brought into my life. I love your workshops and have enjoyed meeting Fr. Dan at a silent retreat in Alabama a while back when his great book on Purgatory came out. I spend quality time praying for my loved ones and ALL the Holy Souls in Purgatory. Can I help you out a bit, Fr. Chris?? In the day before cameras were digital we had to buy a roll of film, load it into the back of the camera, and take pictures. We would send the roll of film to the local foto place and wait about 3 days. When the pictures came back, they also came with a brown film of the reversed image of our pictures, in case we wanted more copies. Ok, when the Shroud of Turin wad being analyzed it was in the 1970s, they had to take pictures and wait for the three days. When the pictures came back, they were blank. Yup nothing was taken, so sad. Well here is where the "miracle " comes in, the pictures were blank, but when the negatives were checked, there was the Holy Image of Jesus.❤❤❤ Fast forward 30 years later, and from that negative we now have a digital image of Jesus. Last shocker, The image of Veronica's Veil, Shroud, the image of Divine Mercy and the digital image line up exactly. You could put one image on top of the other and they'd all line up.
