In the Q&A, you address Catholics and their support for lawyers and the legal profession (and cultural engagement in general). Yes, protestants have failed in this regard. The failure of protestants in this area is rooted in their worldview namely the rise of dispensationalism, premillennialism, and two-kingdom theology. As a result, Christians have withdrawn from meaningful cultural influence. These doctrinal worldviews have fueled this abdication of our institutions to the pagan "left." SBC has been a huge influence in this withdrawal.

The Catholic position is simple. We are saved through God's grace, but God gave us free will, so his grace can be resisted. Accordingly, we only access his grace by accepting it and cooperating in his grace. We are all ships at sea. Without the wind (God's grace), we get nowhere. But if we don't hoist the sails to accept the wind, we remain adrift and get nowhere. We cannot earn our salvation, we are never entitled to salvation. It's always a gift from God. But God does not bestow that gift unless we cooperate in his grace.
