I remember seeing the commercial on tv for Friday Night Date when I was very young. I really wanted that one as a child but never got it. I think ipart of the reason was because of the tray and the glasses that came with it. I have it now, it's not in the best condition. Your Reproduction Jumper is really pretty, much better than my vintage one. I would love to get Ken's Deamboat outfit one day too. Another really great video thank you.

AWWW how cute barbie and ken going on a date i like that i always knew barbie were great together oh and to be honest Ken in that outfit kinda looks like a Gi joe to be honest it's just the green vest and the camo flosh shirt it just look like a Gi joe to me in my opinion but still looks great and barbie does to with that cute beautiful dress of her's so nice i love it😁💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝

He really DOES look like a GI Joe! Those dolls in the 60s were very close to the Ken doll, but they had a wicked battle scar on their face!

I used to use a steel crochet hook as a button hook for fastening those tiny buttons. You get the precision you need to fasten them without damaging the button loop.

Really? That’s fascinating! I wonder why that is! Edit: I looked it up because I was intrigued. According to the wiki they do some kind of time freeze on vintage 60s Barbie as she lived in willow Wisconsin, and Midge came out of the time freeze and still has a 60s mindset at times. Pretty interesting!

Lots of articulated 1/6 figures,high end collectibles that take up lots of room along with all types of Barbie figures ...and more LOL!! Both of these are two of my favorite Barbie & Ken outfits, someone gave me the reproduction gift set, “Friday Night DreamDate” which is really neat because of the cd that came with it. Jazz Hands, you mentioned that you have some shirts that were your Grand Pa’s, why not make a quilt out of the shirts?

I didn’t even remember this Barbie outfit. I have a friend who has a vintage K & B. Broke my heart when I saw them, because when she was little she poked both dolls with a pin. Arrrghhhhh! I told her that what she had left of the vintage clothes were collectible. At least she didn’t stick pin holes in them.

If someone has their original doll, there is nothing more precious than what makes them unique to that owner! Damage does suck, but having your own original friend who is the same as she was when you were a kid is it’s own kind of special too!

This website doesn’t have this dress, unfortunately, but it does have suburban shopper!! www.unique-vintage.com/products/barbie-x-unique-vintage-blue-white-suburban-shopper-sundress I remember seeing on an old forum post an actress/comedian who did love the outfit and had it made, then wore it to a talk. It looked okay, it was a little flatter in real life and didn’t have the “puff” that the doll dress did!!
