Do you sew by hand or sewing machine?

i don't have this set, but i THINK i might get it in the future. Just to have and keep in mt Barbie doll case with a few other iconic fashions. In my fantasy, when i have my Barbie doll wearing this dress, she's singing something from the "Barbie Sings!" album. i love that album. It's lush and whimsical. i think i would like for her to sing "My First Date".

i have been subscribed to your channel for years, and i am just now getting acquainted with your videos. i haven't been personally interested in vintage Barbie until now, but thank you forgiving us so much detailed content. i feel badly for letting so much time go by. Especially now that you seem to be on hiatus. i had been on a Superstar kick since the beginning of my collecting journey eight years ago, but i''ve been cultivating my own vintage Barbie experience for the past few weeks, and i now understand the plight of vintage fans. i hope you are well, Jazz Hands.

i have always found the phone to be a curious accessory for this ensemble. What exactly is it for? i mean, Barbie is supposed to be on the go, right? 😄

The "flower power" dress is my favorite. i love that pattern, but i think it'd be better as a halter. And that green robe is darling! Some of the best doll clothes are often homemade.

One of my goals is to obtain as many vintage fashion reproductions that i can. At this point, it isn't even worth searching for originals. They are insanely overpriced and most are not even in excellent condition.

Thanks for making samples. I have a different pattern package that includes the gown, the suit, nightgown, & peignoir. But the images didn’t cut it. I like how the nightgown (sans peignoir) looks when tied. It makes for a fun summer dress too! I’m motivated to try making those now.

And yet the dollar store doll still has better clothes (which can be removed/changed) than many of the modern Barbie dolls.

The apple print sheath would have had a black and white Barbie label inside the dress because it came without the coat .The Easter parade dress would NOT have a black and white label because the black coat that came with the outfit would have had the Barbie label .

My patterns for Barbie and Ken range from the 1970s to 2000s, with a lot of retro reprints. The ones for formal gowns are much too complicated for my home sewing skills and are still in their envelopes. The everyday wardrobes are my favorites. Your dress choice is adorable, especially with ric rac. Separates are easier for me as some of the current Barbie and Ken dolls are "stockier" than my 1970s dolls. How talented you are to match all those plaids.... I look forward to watching more of your videos. Thank you 🍄🍄
