If you have a particular sin that you keep falling into, please don’t give up. We cannot overcome these sins by ourselves, in our own strength. Some things are easy to give up, while other things not so easily. Keep praying asking God for strength to shut off that part of your brain that wants whatever it wants, in that area. Only Jesus could cast the devil out of heaven, and only Jesus can remove sin out of us: He is the One who gives us power, by His Spirit, to overcome our practicing sinful nature: any the sins that follow. John 15:5-6 says, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.” Pastor Batchelor & Ross are like Philip: “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.” Philippians 1:6-7 😊

I believe the timing of this series is perfect. NYC has also been the focus of the prophecies of Isaiah. There is a great work to be accomplished and it will not be done without confronting the enemy wherever he is found to be. Only complete trust and faith in the Lord God of Israel will save this nation if it is God’s will that it is to be saved. I am a Hebrew by the grace of Yeshua and I believe you are following the leading of what I call the ruach ha-kodesh, aka, The Holy Spirt. Shabbat Shalom to my Adventist brothers and sisters. Please, Pastor Doug, if you have any kind of thought (reservations) that you should not do a back spring, please don’t do it to impress the audience. 🤭 About 25 years ago, I was jumping on a large trampoline with my daughter. She was bouncing me to get some cotton from the leaves of our tree. The last time she bounced to me it sounded like a branch broke, but it was my left knee. I had ACL reconstruction back then. now I have bone on bone. I have no insurance right now. And I’m not sure if I’m gonna be getting surgery, in another year, when I do have insurance at age 65. The way the world is, I may have to flee to the mountains, or I may not even be alive. The Lord might lay me to rest. I also have a shifting spine. It’s crunched deteriorating. It looks like (from an MRI) somebody hit me with a hammer. I don’t mind, God’s grace is sufficient for me, and because, I don’t have a ministry like you do. but I’d hate to see you put out of function. You are doing a wonderful job and I pray our Lord Jesus keeps you safe and healthy. In His/Jesus precious name, amen. 🙏🏼

I heard a pastor tell about circumstances during that time that the reason Paul told women to cover their heads was because the prostitutes did not cover their hair, so to be able to tell the difference between Christian women & a prostitute was for Christian’s to cover their heads. It was for that circumstance, not a law.

The question I have is when we are Baptised young and are free from sin and then grow up and ultimately commit sin then wouldn't I need to be re-baptised?🤔😇

They were holding serious errors. But with clearer light, they gladly accepted Christ as their Redeemer, and with this step of advance came a change in their obligations. As they received a purer faith, there was a corresponding change in their life. In token of this change, and as an acknowledgment of their faith in Christ, they were rebaptized in the name of Jesus. {AA 285} “8 Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me. 9 Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head. 10 Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all.” John 13:8-10 We get dirty on the road of life and need our souls washed by Jesus. His example shows we should do this for each other. Pray continue to grow to know Jesus better.

Good question. I know some people who were baptized in teens but then grew up and committed sins but then wanted to give their lives again to Christ and were baptized again

The plaques of Egypt represented the gods that they worshiped. For every god that they worshiped God showed them that He was more powerful. For examples they worshiped the sun and God gave them 3 days of darkness with no sun. Showing that God Almighty controlled the sun which He made. Also they worshiped the nile river which God made into blood. They also worshiped insects. Those are just some examples. God is the one true God!

“Don’t worry about the plagues”…I’ve heard some strange advice but that one takes the cake, Pastor! Christ was persecuted His entire time while on earth, as did His disciples, so what makes you think we will not be persecuted all the way up to the end? Sounds more like a Pentecostal preacher than an Adventist! Our lives here on earth is to suffer gladly for others and to happily accept death without fear!

Persecution is different than plaques falling. Of course all that live Godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But the 7LP are the undiluted wrath of God. God will protect His people through the plaques just like He did with His people during the plaques that fell on Egypt.

I don't like that you answer these peoples questions without the leading of The Holy Spirit. Someone asked about why Jesus told Mary magdolin not to touch Him, for He had not yet ascended to His Father yet. You gave some strange answers and left out the Truth completely. Answer: Jesus Christ had just been beaten beyond recognition three days earlier, and was hung on a cross, then removed from that cross and put into a tomb where He was brought back to life with incredible power from God Himself. The Spirit says to me that Jesus was still in extreme pain and suffering from His ordeal. He had not yet ascended to The Father, meaning that He was still in a human body and could feel pain. He told Thomas to put his hand in His side to cure his unbelief, showing that His wounds had not yet healed. There is a greater condemnation for those that teach The word of God, and especially those who teach it incorrectly!
