The Franco/Spanish couple are a perfect example of the matching hypothesis theory that we look for partners who resemble us, often very closely, physically. They look so alike one could say they were twin identical brother & sister.

Hola. :) Una vez preguntaste, "¿Y esta vez por qué sí se armó?" Y la traducción en las letras era, "And why did it work out this time?" Entonces, no puedo hallar ente significo del verbo "armar". Es este uso del verbo más coloquial o reciente?
@AngelGrelia
@AngelGrelia 7 жыл бұрын
Hola. Es correcto, es coloquial y normalmente es usado por gente joven o entre amigos. Significa "hacer" y es algo que pasará o pasó en un futuro o pasado cercano. Así que; _"¿Y esta vez por qué sí se armó?"_ significa _"¿Y esta vez por qué sí se hizo?"_ o _"¿Y esta vez por qué sí pasó/sucedió?"_

No only do they speak at gatlin bullet speed, the syntax is also weird when you translate the sentence word for word. How does "Igual algo parecido" means something like that in 4:17? Wouldn't it be just easier to just say "Algo como eso?" Also, how does "Ya" interpret as "that's it" at 4:18? Doesn't ya mean already? These are just of the few tiny examples that makes it so difficult for me because it's really hard translating in your head with all these variations, filler words that sometimes don't make sense when translating in your head word for word. I'm also learning german and although it's much harder in terms of grammer and aussprache, it's a lot straight forward and slower. Plus I'm just addicted to the pronunciation. In spanish, the words just easily roll off my tongue causing me not to remember them.

You said it yourself. You are translating in your head. Im guessing you probably learned a lot from text books and services like Duolingo. Listen and mimic instead and youll start to understand the meaning of the sentences without "translating" to your native language. Translating takes a lot of effort and youll never reach fluency in comprehension if you dont let go of that habit. Pimsleur is good for that approach i think. Try google a guy called Idahosa ( Mimic Method )

Sarah Swiderski I can understand Spanish. The translation you´re looking for is this: "Well, on Friday nights I often go out to parties." The word "suelo" in this context means "often".
