If you build sandbags put barbed wire on the enemy side of the bags so they can't use them as cover.

Some tipps from someone who played a lot of CoH2... Please always have the sniper in cover... Use attack-moves for units so they engage as soon as they encounter the enemy or for snipers/machine guns so they dont accidentally close in, when you misclick When you rightclick an enemy unit to attack it, you can press stop. Your unit will still focus their fire on them, but they won't chase the enemy if the latter are retreating and thus leave cover.

To elaborate on your third point a bit, Infantry and Vehicles get accuracy debuffs while moving. Issuing a stop command with W will instantly set their accuracy to its maximum value.

Great streams Turin. Appreciate someone with your sub count covering one of the most under appreciated franchises out there. Coh needs more love. Couple of tips I’ve gleaned from my own potato play; Learn the effective ranges of different infantry units so you can take the advantage. US rifles are best at midrange. Pathfinders, most German and Brit units are better at long range. Upgraded weapons can change that, but if you keep it in mind you’ll win a lot of engagements. You can hover over unit names to see their descriptions. Try to get your light vehicles out and causing trouble under 10 minutes to cement your map control. Once you’re over 12 minutes, particularly if you’re behind it’s better to save fuel, go AT guns and dig in to wait for better armour. In game 3 against that pro player you went for a light tank at about 15 mins and they’d already probably gotten their final tech, so you ended up slowing your own development. Easy to fall further behind than you need to that way. Just pressure the map where you can and counter when you’ve built up. The 10 minute mark is always a critical time stamp with most pro gamers I’ve seen play due to tech up timings.

I know it might not seem to fit the fast paced micro of high level multiplayer, but please use wire, sand bags, and tank traps. You get back capped because there's nothing impeding their advance.

It looks quite like the Brits counter the Africa Corp light armour rush quite easily, nice that there is a counter to that rush by an infantry upgrade that doesn't really lessen the effectiveness against infantry, unlike the American bazooka which doesn't seem as effective against either tbh

Anyone find the British infantry with AT rifle upgrades Turin uses in his game with Sparty to be unbalanced? Three squads one shot lighter armor, which seems to be the focus of the DAF (relying on lighter armor I mean). He gets them pretty early and they seem to be a pure hardcounter. He doesn't even really need AT guns or armor to deal with heavier german armor. Plus, the shots seem to throw around / stun the half tracks? So you basically have 0 chance to escape if they have 2-3 squads. Curious what others thought?

It is strong, but in my experience good DAK players will shut you down with the anti infantry zergs of their own infantry

How do veterans of this series feel about the voice acting in this game? The American announcer comes off super weird to me. Definitely preferred the one from COH2. Edit: How do you also feel about unit portraits? I personally miss the charm of the old faded photographs from the previous entry.

You need to micro manage your tanks a bit better. You seem to give them orders then just leave them be, making it easy to flank them. Entertaining to watch but I felt like a couple of times there you had a better force and lost due to you trying to do too much.
